Speakers at this event were: Sirius Minerals Recently in the news with the York Potash Project; following the planning permission to extract polyhalite to produce fertaliser, Sirius Minerals are a globally diversified potash development company. MGT Power MGT Power is an independent British company focused on large scale biomass projects which use sustainable forestry as fuel supply. The £400m Tees Renewable Energy Plant (Tees REP) will be one of the world’s largest biomass power stations, sourcing sustainable biomass fuels from the UK and globally, it will generate around 2.4 TWhrs of electricity each year, enough to power 600,000 homes.
